Put the Biscuit in the Net!
The Girl Scouts of Western Ohio have teamed up with the founders of Team Dayton Girls’ Hockey to host this new event for girls!
This three-day program is designed to expose girls to ice hockey as part of the Girl Sport Program. Learning is hands-on, including three on-ice sessions and girls will get to see a women’s professional hockey game as part of the program!
The session times will vary over the weekend, but will include a Friday evening program and afternoon sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Check out this flyer for more information!
Dates: March 28-30*
*Girls must attend all session dates to complete the program.
Location: Ervin J. Nutter Center, WSU
Cost: $15.00 per girl
Girls will receive:
- “Put the Biscuit in the Net” patch
- USA Hockey stickers
- USA Hockey pin
- Tickets (2 per girl) to the Dayton Bombers v. Elmira Jackals (evening game on Sunday, March 30)
Girls must register through the Buckeye Trails office and should wear workout type clothing to the program.

Go GREEN at Wright State!
The Girls Ready to Explore Engineering Now Program is a fun-filled four day residential camp for girls entering the 7th, 8th or 9th grade for Fall 2008. Under the supervision of engineering students and faculty, campers will experience engineering in the real world and the academic world through design projects, tours and other fun activities!
The GREEN Program will be held July 22-25, 2008 on the Wright State University Campus
Cost: $250.00 (includes housing, linens, meals and supplies)
Camp is limited to thirty (30) participants, 10 from each grade level. Space will be filled on first-come, first serve basis.
