Adults in Girl Scouting are among the most dedicated volunteers and give their time unselfishly to help girls grow strong. Nominating a volunteer for an award is a great way to say "thank you for all you do for the girls."

Girl Scout Leader Day is celebrated every year on April 22. Tell your leaders you care by doing something special for them that week.

These awards are approved by a local Girl Scout Service Unit team and range from progressive volunteer awards to recognition of occasional and short-term volunteers.

These national GSUSA awards recognize outstanding service. The Buckeye Trails Award is a local award with a long history of recognizing individuals who have supported the council in a significant way. These awards are approved by the Council Board of Directors for presentation at the Council's Annual Meeting.
Green Badge of Courage
This award recognizes an adult Girl Scout who has performed a courageous act or has met a challenge in a courageous way. This is a volunteer who has saved a life or who has continued being a volunteer in spite of a challenge such as a health problem.
