Dear Scouts, Leaders, and Parents,
Thank
you for your interest in the Columbus Zoo's "From
Shore to Sea" Interest Project! We invite you to
join us as we take an in-depth look at the "world
of water" and explore the Zoo's role in preserving
and protecting our oceans. Program highlights
include hands-on activities, guest presenters, and
use of the Zoo's many resources including a visit
to Discovery Reef and our Penguin exhibit.

highly recommend that you register as a troop.
Once the program has been filled or
upon registration close, you will be invoiced for
the number of girls registered. During
the course of the workshop seven activities from
the four different categories will be completed.
If the scout stays for the completion of the
workshop and participates in all of the
activities, she will earn her "From Shore to Sea"
Interest Patch the same day. The
Interest Project patch is included in the cost of
the program which you will receive at the end of
the program. Due to the badge
requirements and water-themed program, we will not
be visiting all areas of the Zoo. However, the Zoo
does not close until 5:00 p.m. so you are more
than welcome to stay and explore the areas and
animals of interest to you after the program.
