Camp Greene

Camp Greene is a 27 acre facility located on the Little Miami River near John Bryan State Park. The site is moderately primitive and takes full advantage of the natural world. Camp Greene offers a unique blend of small meadows, wooded paths, and a winding riverbank. A variety of wildflowers, rare and endangered plants, and wildlife can be found throughout the facility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Program opportunities abound at Camp Greene

On-site activities include hiking and a chance to explore the plants and wildlife. A nature nook building is open with information on the plants and wildlife in the area.

Camp Greene has the following facilities

  • Lodge (East/West): Rustic old "barn" structure With a stove, refrigerator, outdoor faucet, fire circle and a latrine.Each side accommodates 20 people.

  • Osage Cabin Unit: Cabin unit with kitchen shelter, refrigerator, outdoor faucet, fire circles and latrine. 1 cabin accommodates 24 people.

  • Greenbriar Tent Unit: Platform tent units with kitchen shelter, refrigerator, outdoor faucet fire circles and latrine. 7 tents accommodates 28 people.

  • Primitive Area: Grassy meadow, prime spot to practice minimal impact camping. Accommodates 30-40 people.
