Appleseed Ridge Region
Camp
Myeerah
Bellefontaine, OH
Camp Myeerah offers a comfortable, peaceful environment
perfect for seminars, retreats and social gatherings
year round. This camp is located several miles outside
of Bellefontaine. The spacious rustic lodge can
accommodate 100 people and offers a fully equipped
kitchen. Myeerah has multiple sleeping accommodations
including the troop house, the lodge, the lake house,
tree houses, covered wagons and platform tents. Camp
Myeerah offers many trails for hiking and a newly
created wetlands for discovery, or just a relaxing day
in the wilderness.
Woodhaven
Program Center
Lima, OH
Rose Marie Duffy Lodge provides a beautiful atmosphere
to host receptions, large meetings and conferences. The
Lodge is furnished with a commercial kitchen and will
seat 150.
Sweetbriar Lodge has multiple meeting rooms varying in
size and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area.
Woodhaven also has a pond with a shelter house that
provides a great area for smaller outdoor gatherings.
The Council Service Center with the Council Shop is
located at Woodhaven in Lima.

Scouts Urban Campus
Dayton, OH
The Urban Campus is a brand new facility. It is nestled
in the woods of the campus and offers new and exciting
programs in a building that connects the girls with
nature and provides a seamless transition from inside to
outside. The facility includes a “green” rooftop area
for outdoor camping, star-gazing, and eco-system
programming, an indoor climbing wall, a” teaching”
kitchen, an art studio, complete with firing and glazing
kilns, several indoor overnight accommodations, a
natural stone ceremonial “bridge” over an existing creek
on the property, an “art wall” to display the girls’
work, a wireless environment for a cyber-café
atmosphere, Training rooms for adult volunteers,
Boutique for Girls, an Exhibit area in lobby, and
classrooms for a wide range of program instruction.

Camp
Greene
Yellow Springs, OH
Camp Greene is a 27 acre facility located on the Little
Miami River near John Bryan State Park. The site is
moderately primitive and takes full advantage of the
natural world. Camp Greene offers a unique blend of
small meadows, wooded paths, and a winding riverbank. A
variety of wildflowers, rare and endangered plants, and
wildlife can be found throughout the facility. On-site
activities include hiking and a chance to explore the
plants and scenery. A nature nook building is open with
information on the plants and wildlife in the area.
Initiative Games - Games that represent a challenge or
situation to the group that they must solve within a
given set of rules and with materials provided by the
facilitator. Camp Greene also offers a Challenge course
that includes, low elements, climbing walls, horizontal
wall, zip line, The Flying Squirrel, The Double Swing,
The Dangle Duo and The Pamper Pole.
Little
House
Greenville, OH
Little House is a cabin located in Darke County. With
wood floors and wood interior, it is a charming yet
secure environment to begin troop overnight experiences.
With several trees surrounding the building and
scattered on the lot, the building looks remote while
still allowing a large number of program opportunities.
Camp
Rolling Hills
Pleasant Hill, OH
Camp Rolling Hills is located near the Stillwater River
in Miami County. With a variety of unit types available,
troops and groups can experience everything from
dormitory style camping with all the requirements of the
modern world, to primitive camping along the banks of
the Stillwater River.
Rolling Hills has nearly 74 acres of land complete with
hills, large open grassy areas, mini-marsh area, and
extensive woods. Program opportunities are enhanced by
an indoor program building, a nature walk, a fitness
trail, orienteering opportunities and open play fields
that offer volleyball and archery. There is also a pool
and challenge course.
Camp
Whip-Poor-Will
Morrow, OH
In Warren County, Ohio near the Little Miami River, Camp
Whip-Poor-Will consists of 505 acres of land ranging
from grassy meadows to steep ravines.
This camp has many campsites which vary from platform
tents to dormitory-style buildings. Program activities
include nature hikes, sports and games, wading and
fossil hunting, sand volleyball, archery range, fishing
and canoeing and a challenge course.

Camp
Butterworth
Maineville, OH (Near Kings Island)
Located above the Little Miami River in Warren County,
Camp Butterworth has been a favorite Girl Scout campsite
since 1935. Each year thousands of girls and adults make
use of this 160 acre site which has wooded hillsides and
open fields suitable for a wide variety of outdoor
activities.
Whether it's camping in platform tents, glen shelters,
adirondacks or lodges, Camp Butterworth has something
for everyone. Open fields, trails and woods are used for
troop camping, council sponsored events, and summer
program opportunities. For troop camping, groups plan
their own activities while enjoying the natural
surroundings. Council sponsored events are planned
program opportunities for individuals or groups to
interact with other Girl Scouts. Summer program
opportunities provide girls with an opportunity to
attend Camp Butterworth for resident or day camp.
Activities include day use, workshops, lodge camping,
tent or glen shelter camping, special events, service
unit camp-outs and summer program opportunities. Special
features include a resource center at the Hub, Little
Miami River and bike trail, and an indoor archery range
and climbing wall.

Stonybrook
Waynesville, OH
Camp Stonybrook, located
in Waynesville in Warren County has 315 acres of open
fields and wooded hillsides to roam. The Stony Brook
runs through camp and is a favorite site for creeking
and fossil hunting. The low ropes challenge course and
swinging bridge add to the uniqueness of this camp. Open
fields, trails and woods are used for troop camping,
council sponsored events, and summer program
opportunities. Camp Stonybrook is also great for day
use, workshops, lodge or tent camping, special events,
service unit camp-outs and summer program opportunities.
Special features include resource center and Sugar
Shack, Blue Bird Trail, low ropes challenge course, and
orienteering.

Camp
Ladigrau
Osgood, IN
Camp Ladigrau, located in Osgood Indiana derives its
name from the surrounding towns:
Lawrenceburg,
Dillsboro,
Greendale and
Aurora. 74 acres
of wooded hillsides and a 2.5 acre lake offer a variety
of options from tent camping to canoeing. Mary T.
Schloss Lodge which overlooks the lake is a perfect
place for a fall or winter campout. Whether it's camping
in the lodge, platform tents, or adirondacks, Camp
Ladigrau has something for everyone. Open fields, trails
and woods are used for troop camping, and council
sponsored events. For troop camping, groups plan their
own activities such as swimming or paddling on the lake
while enjoying the natural surroundings. Council
sponsored events are planned program opportunities for
individuals or groups to interact with other Girl
Scouts. Other special features include Lake Rosemary, a
2.5 acre lake with swimming area, docks, canoes and
fishing. Hiking trail circles the lake.

Camp
Libbey
Defiance, OH
Nestled along the scenic
banks of the Maumee River, Camp Edward Drummond Libbey
is located just outside Defiance, Ohio. Accredited by
the American Camp Association for its high standards in
both facilities and programs, Camp Libbey, has offered a
variety of camping experiences since 1936. With almost
350 acres of fields, forest and ravines, Camp Libbey is
a great place to get in touch with the environments and
learn about animal and plant life, ecology, history and
much more. A nine-week resident camp program during the
summer offers a variety of programs for girls that
include swimming, canoeing, performing arts, crafts and
archery. The
Environmental Center at Camp Libbey offers
a variety of nature programs geared to Try-Its, Badges
or Interest Patches. The hands-on exhibits, live animal
display room and nature viewing/resource room are also
located in the Center. Camp Libbey has a horse barn at
the corral with sixteen horses and miles of riding
trails, and adventure course and programs including team
initiatives, low ropes course, climbing wall, high ropes
course and a zip line. The facility includes a dining
hall to accommodate 200 people, administrative building,
environmental center, Juliet Low lodge, Linden House
building, Sweet Breeze Cluster Buildings (3), Woodland
(6 modern buildings) and platform tent units.
