Craft/Patch exchange

  • Agenda
  • Over the fall months the girls from Troop 11143 collected hygiene products.   They put together 75 care packages consisting of shampoo, condition, tampons, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes.  The girls put these items in bags and we delivered them to the Sparrow's Nest (two houses) in December.  While delivering them, they also gave the residents decorated candy canes.  The women were very appreciative.  The girls learned a lot from the this project and appreciate what they have.

  • Bowling Flyer

  • "Daisies Helping Haiti."  In just a short week the girls collected donations to be sent over to Haiti.  All the donations were brought to our meeting on Tuesday January 19 and put on the table for everyone to see. Our guest speakers were Mr. & Mrs Frisch from Toledo who have adopted five Haiti children.  Mrs. Frisch did an amazing job talking to the girls about Haiti.  After listening to Mrs. Frisch speak and seeing pictures of what took place the girls learned so much.  Best of all, they learned that no matter where a disaster happens, even if it isn't in our own country, we need to help everyone.
