Hancock County Troops 20220, 20219
and 20162 visited the Findlay DQ on
the afternoon of 7/21 . Mr Jim
Niemeyer, the owner, met with the
girls and gave an informal
presentation about being a small
business owner and the food
industry. The girls are working on
the Your Own Business
Interest Project Patch and earned
several of the requirements with
many questions for Mr. Niemeyer.
After the presentation, the girls
enjoyed the new "Tagalong" Blizzard
and other dairy treats. |

Girl
Scouts is again partnering with Dairy Queen in a promotion that not
only teaches girls entrepreneurial skills but also encourages girls
to “think outside the box”...the cookie box, that is.
This year, Dairy Queen will be offering
TWO Blizzard treats featuring two of the
most popular selling Girl Scout Cookies—Peanut Butter
Patties and Thin Mints. In addition,
to help celebrate Girl Scout
Appreciation Week (July 20-26), Dairy Queen is
offering Girl Scouts the opportunity to get a behind the scenes look
at store operations.
To take advantage of this exciting experience, contact a
participating Dairy Queen location to schedule your troop tour.
