Thanks Badge II
The Thanks Badge II for continued service recognizes an adult who continues to provide truly outstanding service and leadership, continues to benefit the total Council or the entire Girl Scout movement, and has previously been awarded the Thanks Badge.
Criteria
The nominee...

is a registered Girl Scout adult volunteer or staff member

has previously received the Thanks Badge
-
has provided continued outstanding service and leadership to the total Council or the entire Girl Scout movement over an extended period of time
-
has increased her/his sphere of influence or used skills and talents to move into another field of endeavor to benefit the Council or Girl Scouting
-
has specific services documented that show long-term service and leadership
-
has specific results documented that show her/his impact
-
has the necessary four letters of endorsement

An individual who, after years as an outstanding Council trainer, worked for a term as a national volunteer trainer.

An individual who, after many successful Council-wide training events, went on to plan and direct a statewide or regional training event.

An individual who, after directing Council and regional wider opportunities for girls, directed a nationwide wider opportunity.

An individual who, after successfully influencing a local Council with an area of expertise, branched out to become a consultant to other groups such as management consultant for non- profit agencies in a community.

An individual in a policy position who has initiated and carried through on a plan impacting the strategic planning process of the Council that has resulted in greater financial stability.

An individual who has initiated a program delivery system within the Council that has success- fully influenced retention and quality program and that has been shared with other Councils.
