is a registered Girl Scout.

adheres to all policies and procedures of the Girl Scout organization.

has completed appropriate orientation and training for the volunteer position.

has completed successful volunteer service in the Girl Scout organization at the local or national level.

should have provided the service during the current membership year.
Examples

A volunteer successfully serves on a GSBTC board committee such as Disabilities, Diversity, Finance, Long-Range Planning, and Property.

A volunteer successfully completes an assignment as a Service Unit Manager or a Service Unit Team position.

A volunteer successfully serves on a council committee such as Awards, Gold/Silver, Product Sales, Volunteer Development Advisory, and others.

A volunteer who has successfully completed a first experience as troop/group leader.

Nominator completes form 926 and gives to the Training Consultant.

Training Consultant records information from form 926 on Individual Record

Training Consultant then sends form to the Volunteer Development Department at Council.

Training Consultant or Service Unit Manager purchases Volunteer Development Pin from Shop.

Service Unit sends or presents pin to volunteer.
